I began using Scan Cards in 1990, when I was managing a wide array of very complex projects. New information and demands were constantly pouring in. With Scan Card, I could dedicate a column of each panel to a particular project. Whenever I delegated an action to a member of my staff, I'd just pull out the appropriate card and hand it to them. Completed actions would go into a storage box, where I could retrieve them if historical information was ever needed. I always carried several cards in a leather square my shirt pocket for whenever I needed to make note of something, later placing the card in the corresponding sleeve column for follow up.
I'm glad to see the system is still around!

I have been using this system for many years.
I love being able to open the binder and see ALL the projects at once.
My mornings are so much calmer, because I can priortize what needs to be done.
My projects are running more smoothly, and my stress levels are going down.

I use these cards to work with my team each week.
We go over the projects, the clients, the lenders, and all the other daily items that come up.
It helps me to stay on track with followup phone calls and emails.
I use each column as a separate category, and then I can list all the contacts under each category, so that I have everything in one place.
It is so much easier to keep up, and nothing falls down into the cracks!
