This piano hinge binder is designed and constructed for heavy-duty use. It features a rugged metal piano hinge and rigid board covered with a soft padded genuine leather cover. It’s “Built like a Tank” yet has a sophisticated high-end professional appearance. It lays completely flat when open.

Allows the use of standard sheet protectors and index tabs without sticking out the edge when closed. Designed for large capacity requirements or heavy daily use. It's OK

An attractive and generally well-crafted piece, except the pins slide out of the hinges. This causes the cover to fall off when the binder is removed from the shelf, leaving one to thread the pin back through the hinges. Not quite suited for "heavy-duty" use.

I apologize for the problem you described. The metal rods are designed to have a slight bend at the top to prevent this from happening. Apparently this was not done correctly.
Please contact us we'll send a return label so we can correct the problem.
